Day 71: The Military

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to believe that ‘my country’ is mighty and superior to others.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to feel a sense of security from the mightiness of the military.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to believe that the mighty military will protect me and my family.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to believe that nuclear weapons will give me more protection and security.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to believe that enemies should be obliterated like flies.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to believe that the military should be funded at any cost.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to feel a sense pride and power when I see the mighty armories of the military.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to venerate military generals like demi-gods.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to believe that the mighty generals will protect the nation, the men, women and children.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to romanticize the military.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to believe that ‘my military’ as the most righteous and professional, who kill only for noble causes, therefore they are the heroes and saviors.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to glorify the military.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to justify everything the military says and does as righteous.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to believe that ‘my military’ can’t do any wrong, they are the most civilized.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to believe that greatest love of a nation is to love its military.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself believe that the military should be constantly modernized and be ever ready for action.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to believe that its the military power that eventually bring others to the table.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to believe that I am great because my military is great, they make me feel great.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to believe that every citizen should salute the military and the flag, no matter what, without question.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to believe that I am expanding in power and awe within myself, when I see the military parades displaying their big guns and mighty generals.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to experience a sense of thrill and a positive energetic rush within myself when the military scores a victory, and want more of it.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to cheer for wars, so I can feel victorious, fill myself with positive energy rushes.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to not see/realize unless the role of the military is civilian relief and rescue operations, the very existence of the military is a crime against humanity, because its very presence creates the conditions for conflicts.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to not see/realize in a world where 30,000 die daily from hunger and related diseases, the funding of the military should be the lowest priority.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to believe that I cant’ exist without my military.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to believe that dying for the military is a great sacrifice, and that will make me a martyr.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to believe that the military is greater than life.
